Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 25 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply when you use tedandpip.co.uk or purchase products from TED AND PIP LTD.
Please read them carefully before placing an order.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About us
This website is operated by:
TED AND PIP LTD
Company number: 16767238
Registered office: Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE
Email: hello@tedandpip.co.uk
Website: tedandpip.co.uk
In these Terms, “Ted & Pip”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to TED AND PIP LTD.
“You” and “your” refer to the customer or website visitor.
2. These Terms
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You should also read our:
- Privacy Policy
- Delivery & Returns Policy
- Cookie Policy
These documents contain additional information relevant to your use of our website and purchases from us.
These Terms are intended primarily for consumers purchasing products for personal use.
Wholesale, retailer or other business-to-business purchases may be subject to separate trade terms.
3. Our products
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements and other information shown on our website are accurate.
However, there may be small differences between how products appear on screen and how they look in person.
For example:
- colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device
- patterns may be positioned differently between individual products
- measurements may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances
- packaging may occasionally change
These minor differences do not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.
4. Product sizing
It is your responsibility to select an appropriate size for your dog using the measurements and sizing information provided on our website.
Where relevant, please measure your dog before ordering.
Our size guides are provided to help you choose the appropriate product but cannot account for every individual dog's shape, build or circumstances.
If you're unsure about sizing, please contact us at hello@tedandpip.co.uk before ordering.
5. Prices
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
The price shown when you place your order will normally be the price you pay, together with any applicable delivery charges or other clearly disclosed charges.
Delivery charges are shown before checkout is completed.
We try to ensure that all prices are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may contact you and give you the option to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
We will not add compulsory charges to an order without making them clear before you complete your purchase.
UK consumer rules require online sellers to make total prices and mandatory charges clear before purchase.
6. Payment
Payments are processed securely through Stripe via WooCommerce.
The payment methods available will be shown during checkout.
Payment must normally be authorised before we accept and dispatch an order.
Ted & Pip does not store your full payment card details.
Payment services may be subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy information.
7. Placing an order
When you submit an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the products shown in your basket.
After placing an order, you should receive an order acknowledgement by email.
This acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A contract between you and Ted & Pip is formed when we accept your order, normally when we confirm that the order is being processed or dispatched.
Online sellers are required to confirm contracts in a form customers can retain, such as email.
8. When we may refuse or cancel an order
Occasionally we may be unable to accept an order.
This may happen where, for example:
- an item is out of stock
- payment cannot be authorised
- there is an obvious pricing or product-description error
- we cannot deliver to the address provided
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity
- an order breaches clearly stated promotional conditions
If we have already taken payment for an order we cannot fulfil, we will refund the relevant amount.
We will not cancel orders arbitrarily after accepting them.
9. Delivery
Current delivery options, prices and estimated delivery times are shown on our Delivery & Returns page and at checkout.
Our standard UK service is currently Royal Mail Tracked 48, and we aim to dispatch most orders within 1–2 working days.
Estimated delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees unless we specifically agree otherwise.
UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered within 30 days unless another period has been agreed with the customer.
Once an order has been dispatched, you may receive tracking information.
10. Delivery addresses
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please check your details carefully before submitting your order.
If you notice an error, contact us as quickly as possible at hello@tedandpip.co.uk.
We will try to help if the order has not yet been dispatched, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once fulfilment has begun.
11. International orders
Where international delivery is available, the applicable delivery charge will be shown at checkout.
Orders sent outside the UK may be subject to:
- customs charges
- import duties
- local taxes
- other charges imposed by the destination country
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
International delivery times may also be affected by customs processing or other circumstances outside our control.
12. Your right to cancel an online order
If you are a UK consumer purchasing goods online, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
For most goods, you have 14 days from the day you receive the order to tell us that you wish to cancel.
Once you tell us that you are cancelling, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
To cancel, contact:
Please include your:
- name
- order number
- items being cancelled
You may also use the cancellation form at the end of these Terms.
13. Our extended 30-day returns policy
In addition to your statutory rights, Ted & Pip offers a 30-day returns period for eligible items.
To qualify for our extended change-of-mind returns policy, items should be:
- unused
- unworn
- clean
- in their original condition
- returned with original packaging or tags where applicable
Please contact us before sending a return so we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Our voluntary returns policy does not reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
14. Change-of-mind return postage
If you are returning a product because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, where permitted by law and where we have informed you of this obligation.
We recommend using a tracked service.
The returned item remains your responsibility until it reaches us.
If a product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, different arrangements apply as explained below.
15. Original delivery charges
If you cancel and return your entire order within the statutory cancellation period, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery service where required by law.
If you chose a more expensive delivery method, we only need to refund the equivalent cost of the standard delivery option.
For change-of-mind returns made under our extended 30-day policy after the statutory cancellation period, original delivery charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
16. Condition of returned goods
You may inspect goods in a similar way to how you would examine them in a physical shop.
Where the law allows, we may reduce a statutory cancellation refund where goods have lost value because they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty.
17. Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will normally be returned to the original payment method.
For statutory cancellations, we will process refunds within the time required by law.
For returned goods, this will generally be no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back, subject to the applicable consumer rules.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund after we have processed it.
18. Exchanges
If you need a different size, contact:
Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
For change-of-mind exchanges, you will normally be responsible for the cost of returning the original item.
If an exchange cannot be provided, we may instead process an appropriate refund and allow you to place a new order.
19. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
We are responsible for supplying goods that meet the requirements of UK consumer law.
Products must, among other things, be:
- as described
- of satisfactory quality
- fit for their intended purpose
Our Terms cannot remove your legal rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
If you believe an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact:
Please include:
- your order number
- details of the problem
- photographs where helpful
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a refund, replacement or other solution depending on the circumstances and your legal rights.
Where an item is genuinely faulty or incorrectly supplied, you will not be required to pay unreasonable return costs resulting from our error.
20. Dog accessory safety and use
Ted & Pip products are designed for normal pet use as described on the relevant product page.
No dog accessory is indestructible.
You should:
- choose an appropriate product and size for your dog
- ensure products are correctly fitted
- regularly inspect collars, leads and accessories for wear or damage
- stop using a product if it becomes damaged or unsafe
- use products responsibly and in accordance with any instructions supplied
Damage caused by chewing, inappropriate use, ordinary wear and tear or continued use of an obviously damaged item may not constitute a manufacturing fault.
Nothing in this section limits your legal rights where a product is faulty or unsafe.
21. Product strength and performance claims
Where we publish specific product-testing, strength or performance claims, those claims will relate to the relevant test, product, component or methodology described.
No stated laboratory or component test should be interpreted as meaning that a product is indestructible or suitable for every animal or circumstance.
Always select equipment suitable for your individual dog.
22. Promotions and discount codes
From time to time we may offer:
- discount codes
- introductory offers
- promotional pricing
- free delivery offers
- bundle discounts
- other promotions
Unless stated otherwise:
- promotions cannot be exchanged for cash
- discount codes must be entered before checkout is completed
- promotions may have expiry dates or eligibility requirements
- some products may be excluded
- promotions may not be combinable with other offers
Any important restrictions will be made clear when the promotion is advertised.
We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there has been an obvious error, fraud or misuse, but we will not use hidden terms to unfairly disadvantage customers.
Consumer contract terms and promotional conditions must be fair and transparent.
23. Reviews
Customers may be able to leave product or service reviews.
Reviews should reflect genuine experiences.
You must not knowingly submit:
- fake or misleading reviews
- unlawful content
- abusive or threatening material
- content that infringes another person's rights
- spam
We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary, for example where it is unlawful, fraudulent, irrelevant or abusive.
We will not remove genuine negative reviews simply because they are critical of Ted & Pip.
24. Photographs and other submitted content
If you voluntarily submit photographs, reviews or other content for publication on our website or social-media channels, you confirm that:
- you have the right to provide that content
- it does not infringe another person's rights
Where we wish to use customer photographs or user-generated content for marketing beyond the context in which it was originally submitted, we may request appropriate permission.
25. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, content on tedandpip.co.uk belongs to or is licensed to TED AND PIP LTD.
This includes, where applicable:
- Ted & Pip branding
- logos
- product designs
- graphics
- website layouts
- written copy
- photography
- illustrations
- video
- other original content
You may use the website for normal personal shopping and browsing purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit our content without permission except where permitted by law.
26. Website availability
We aim to keep the website available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
We may occasionally need to:
- carry out maintenance
- fix technical problems
- update products or services
- make security changes
We may temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
27. Links to other websites
Our website may contain links to services operated by other organisations.
We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites.
Their own terms and privacy policies will apply when you use their services.
28. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, we do not exclude liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- faulty goods where liability cannot legally be excluded
- goods that are not as described
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded
UK consumer terms cannot lawfully remove these core responsibilities.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, except where the law provides otherwise.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we do not seek to exclude rights given to you by law.
29. Events outside our reasonable control
Sometimes delays or failures may be caused by events outside our reasonable control.
These could include:
- severe weather
- postal disruption
- transportation disruption
- widespread telecommunications or internet failures
- government action
- emergencies
- other exceptional events
Where this happens, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and keep affected customers informed where appropriate.
This does not remove any rights you may have where the law requires a refund or another remedy.
30. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
That policy explains how information is collected and used, including information processed through:
- WooCommerce
- Stripe
- Omnisend
- Royal Mail
- Google Analytics
- Meta advertising technologies where enabled
- review platforms such as Trustpilot
31. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.
Please see our Cookie Policy and cookie-preference centre for more information about:
- necessary cookies
- analytics
- advertising technologies
- your choices and consent
32. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect:
- changes to our business
- new website functionality
- changes to our services
- changes in law
- changes in our providers or processes
The Terms that apply to an order are normally those in effect when that order is placed.
The latest version will always be available on this page.
33. If part of these Terms is invalid
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
34. Delays in enforcing these Terms
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not necessarily mean that we have waived that right.
35. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live, and nothing in these Terms removes those rights.
Any dispute may be dealt with by the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
